Department of Global Convergence at Gangneung-Wonju National University is an undergraduate program exclusively designed for international students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Our mission is to nurture convergent talents who can meet the demands of a rapidly evolving global society.
The School offers three specialized majors—Global Business, General Engineering and Marine Biotechnology. All courses are conducted entirely in English, ensuring that students develop globally competitive expertise applicable anywhere in the world.
In the first year, students receive structured education in Korean language and culture to enhance their understanding of Korean society and cultivate intercultural sensitivity and integrative thinking skills. Our curriculum is centered on fostering practical, globally competent leaders who are prepared to excel on the international stage. Department of Global Convergence will serve as a strong foundation for students to realize their aspirations and launch their global careers. -
